The King County Criteria Based Dispatch (CBD) Guidelines have been revised and will go into effect July 1, 2010. The revisions are substantial and we want you to be aware of them since the impact may redistribute some EMS calls to the most appropriate level of care, meaning there may be patients that will no longer receive an ALS response. Attached is a summary of the 2010 CBD Revisions.

The EMS Online features – News, Case of the Month and Ask the Doc, have a new look and feel. These new enhancements give more options to EMS Online subscribers by providing multiple ways of finding information. All features now use familiar tools such as: search, category indexes, archives and topic tags.
In addition, the video player has been updated and full screen video is now available for the 2010 EMT Courses and Tuesday Series Paramedic Training. The video is now streaming, allowing viewers the ability to easily select specific sections in the movie for review.
